An Arboricultural Impact Assessment is a technical report often requested by a municipality to assess the potential impact on trees when their by-laws have not been followed during a construction project. It includes information such as the location, Species, health and value of the tree(s) affected, the potential risks to the tree(s) and its sounding area based on the impact on the tree, and the recommendations for mitigation or compensation if needed or allowed by the municipality.
